This blog will be dedicated to my passion for game development in general and of course videogames.
Videogames have an interesting story: when computers first started someone must have realized that you could actually create a game with that electronic device, an idea that had sprung based on mechanical games like pinball. As computers where at first a novelty with few uses videogames where seen as as worse-than-second-class applications, this changed when the industry (with Atari as one of it pioneers) established along with the home computer market. As technology evolved so did the games and with it the industry consolidated into a multi million dollar enterprises conglomerations.
Videogames are more closely related with technology than other entertaining media like movies, tv and music, without computing technology videogames could not exist, and since the technology is moving forward videogames will continue to evolve. So I think that if you are pursuing a career on videogame industry you must be ready to face constant change.
